Down By the Station

Down by the station

See the little pufferbellies
(see the littlepufferbellies)
All in a row

Puff, puff, toot, toot

Off we go!

Choo- Choo Train

This is a choo-choo train,
Puffing down the track.
Now it's going forward,
Now is going back.
Now the bell is ringing.
Now the whistle blows.
Toot, Toot
What alot of noise it makes.
Everywhere it goes.

The Freight Train

Clickity, clackity, clickity clack!
The train speeds over the railroad track.
It rolls and rattles and screeches its song
And pulls and jiggles its freight cars along.
Clickity, clackity, clickity, clack!
The engine in front is big and black.
The cars are filled with lots of things
Like milk, or oil, or mattress spings.
Clickity, clackity, clickity, clack!
The engineer waves, and I wave back.
I count the cars as the freight train goes
and the whitle blows and blows....and blows!

I've Been Workin' on the Railroad

I've been working on the railroad
All the livelong day
I've been working on the railroad
Just to pass the time away

Can't you hear the whistle blowing
Rise up so early in the morn
Can't you hear the captain shouting
Dinah, blow your horn

Dinah, won't you blow
Dinah, won't you blow
Dinah, won't you blow your horn
Dinah, won't you blow
Dinah, won't you blow
Dinah, won't you blow your horn

Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah
Someone's in the kitchen I know
Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah
Strumming on the old banjo, and singing

Other train fun
but don't forget to come back!

Wagon Train

Roll along
Wagon Train.

Rollin over prairie where there ain't no grass,
Rollin over mountain where there ain't no pass.
Sittin on a board
eye in the weather,
Prayin to the Lord
We stay together
Side by side on the Wagon Train.

Wagon Train
Roll along.

Pickin up a passenger in every town,
Wonderin if he's ever gonna shoot you down.
Lookin for a pal,
ain't it a pity,
Lookin for a gal,
needn't be pretty
If she'll ride on the Wagon Train.

Wagons ho!

Gotta keep em on the run.
Time to go!
And follow the sun.
Roll along
Wagon Train.

Never had a cabin near a general store,
Only had a wagon and a forty four.
Sittin on a board
Eyein the weather
Prayin to the Lord
we stay together
Side by side on the Wagon Train

New River Train

I'm a ridin' on that New River Train
I'm a ridin' on that New River Train
Same old train that __ brought me here
Gonna carry me home again.

Oh, darlin', if you love one,
If you love one, that is better than none,
Oh, darlin' if you love one.

Oh, darlin', if you can't love two
You can't love two, they will keep you in a stew,
Oh, darlin', if you can't love two.

If you love three, then you can't love me.

You can't love four and love me anymore.

You can't love five and keep 'em all alive.

If you love six, you are in a pretty fix.

You ca't love seven if you want to go to heav'n.

You can't love eight, that's a most unlucky fate.

You can't love nine, that's a very bad sign.

You can't love ten, so begin your song again.
